HOW DO THEY WORK?

The beads are made from a material with a very low electromagnetic field. With activity the child initiates the creation of the electromagnetic field and this field acts in such a way as to cause pain to subside in the nerve endings of the gum. It has a healing effect on the child’s nervous system. The surface of each bead is smooth which helps the child get accustomed to the beads very quickly and not experience it as a foreign body. The child is calmed without resorting to drugs.

WHAT ARE THEY USEFUL FOR?

Baby cannot tell us but parents say that they seem to help pain caused by teething, tiredness and constant crying.

WHO CAN WEAR THEM?

The teething beads are intended for younger children during the whole period of teething. They are suitable from about 3-4 months right through the teething period which can often continue for 2 years or more.

HOW DO YOU USE THEM?

The necklace must be tied near the baby’s neck but with enough space so there are no obstacles while feeding the baby or straining of vocal chords. Do not extend the necklace. The necklace is for wearing NOT chewing. Whilst the teething necklace can be worn at all times we do recommend that it is removed when the child is sleeping or unattended.

WHAT ARE THEY MADE OF?

The beads in the necklace are synthetic amber (technical name ‘polisitrol’). The material is smooth to the touch and has a very weak electromagnetic field. The beads are then secured on a tightly spun cotton yarn with knots between each bead for safety.

ARE THEY SAFE?

As long as you follow the manufacturer’s simple usage instructions on the packet the necklaces are safe. The cotton yarn is designed to break if undue pressure is applied and between each bead there is a knot to keep the individual beads from scattering in the event of the yarn breaking.

ARE THERE ANY SIDE EFFECTS?

There are no known unwanted side effects. The smooth beads cause no local irritation, allergies or other inflammations. They can safely be used with other medications.

WHERE DO THE NECKLACES COME FROM?
